America's Plumbing Co. is actively seeking a Service Manager for it's faced paced and growing company.
The job of Service Manager is a highly specialized position with many duties and responsibilities. This position is responsible to maintain, develop and grow the business through fundamental operational procedures and system controls. It is the Service Manager's responsibility to ensure the effectiveness of the organization by implementing the organizational strategies and providing leadership. The position is responsible for technical field support, customer service, equipment/parts purchases, safety, training, hiring personnel and evaluation of Field Technicians.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
PRIMARY DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
· Great verbal, and written communication skills.
· Exceptional product and service knowledge of the Plumbing Industry.
· Ability to make good decisions with minimal input.
· Ensure policies and procedures exist are updated and adhered to by all.
· Answering phone calls from customers, sales people and staff as needed.
· Scheduling customers using all resources to enable best efficiencies.
· Dispatching Field Technicians to jobs in a timely manner and updating their progress.
· Customer service to include timely resolutions and customer satisfaction.
· Managing equipment and product purchases.
· Management and tracking of company owned equipment and parts.
· Manage, direct, mentor, instruct, evaluate, motivate and discipline all field personnel.
· Keenly aware of all Customer needs and Field Technicians abilities and locations.
· Ongoing training of all Field Technicians.
· Responsible for all Field Technicians performance appraisals and disciplinary actions as needed.
· Managing and improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the company.
· Evaluate risk management procedures, processes, policies and practices.
· Thorough understand of management, supervisory, leadership methods and principles.
· Good knowledge of interviewing, selecting, recruiting applicants for employment.
· Ability to motivate and mentor employees for achieving goals and objectives.
· Effectively work alone on a broad variety of projects.
· Able to exercise effective judgment, sensitivity, creativity to changing needs and situations.
· Hold effective, informative training, sales and safety meetings on a weekly basis.
· Effectively lead by example in a professional manner.
· Weekly reporting and analysis of key measurement points.
