ASP is seeking a Swimming Pool Service Manager to become a part of our team! You will assist with the installation and repair of various machinery and equipment. VETERANS are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities:

Assist with the installation and repair of machinery and electronic equipment

Furnish tools, materials and supplies to other workers

Maintain a safe and clean work environment

Perform routine preventative maintenance

Track all equipment and supplies

Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Previous experience in cleaning, maintenance, or other related fields

Familiarity with maintenance tools and equipment

Ability to handle physical workload

Ability to work well in teams

Ability to prioritize and multitask

Our company renovates, maintains, and repairs in-ground residential and commercial pool equipment and systems. Experience in mechanical systems and familiarity with plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems a plus.

We can train the right person.Starting pay will be based on background and skills and is negotiable depending on education and experience.Duties also may include Closing/Opening residential and commercial pools, maintenance of residential and commercial pools, safety cover installation, vinyl liner installation, plaster preparation, pool plumbing repair and installation, pressure washing, demolition and prep for renovation and construction, caulking, leak detection and repair, landscape light installation, awning installation, light construction, and other tasks in and around backyards.The work is physically demanding at times.Qualities we are looking for in a new hire include: someone who pays close attention to detail, responsible, clean cut and presentable, punctual, learns quickly, team player, and the ability to work independently when needed. The right candidate needs to be able to work within the ASP system of customer service, communications, and absolute integrity.

As a manager you will also be responsible for training and scheduling the crews that maintain, clean, and inspect pools.Our office is located in Springfield, VA. You will need reliable transportation to make it to our office each day. We work Monday-Friday 7:00am until around 5:00pm during the busy season. During the busy season we work some Saturdays as well. We rarely work on Sundays except in an emergency.Bilingual Spanish speakers encouraged to apply.
