Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced Swimming Pool Service Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of hands-on experience in installing and maintaining swimming pool equipment, liners, tiles, and performing various repairs. The candidate should also possess expertise in chemical maintenance and pool cleaning to ensure the highest standards of safety and functionality for our clients' swimming pools. Prior supervisory or lead technician experience required. Hours are M-F 7:30AM to 4:00PM with some weekend work required periodically.

Responsibilities:

Supervise field operations: Train, supervise, and coach maintenance and service technicians. Monitor and verify all work is completed and necessary follow-up is scheduled. Work closely with office manager to schedule additional work and identify sales opportunities. Manage renovation jobs and ensure sub-contractors complete all necessary contracted work.

Equipment Installation: Install, repair, and maintain swimming pool equipment, including but not limited to pumps, filters, heaters, and automated control systems.

Liner Installation and Repair: Possess expertise in installing and repairing pool liners, ensuring a proper fit and addressing any issues related to leaks or wear and tear.

Tile Installation and Repair: Conduct the installation and repair of pool tiles, maintaining a visually appealing and structurally sound pool environment.

General Repairs: Address and resolve various issues related to pool components, including leaks, cracks, and malfunctions in a timely and efficient manner.

Chemical Maintenance: Monitor and adjust chemical levels in swimming pools to ensure proper water quality and sanitation. Perform water testing and recommend appropriate chemical treatments.

Pool Cleaning: Conduct routine pool cleaning activities, including skimming, vacuuming, and maintaining proper water circulation to prevent algae growth and ensure water clarity.

Customer Communication: Interact with clients to assess their pool service needs, provide recommendations, and address any concerns or questions regarding pool maintenance and repairs.

Documentation: Ensure team keeps accurate records of service visits, repairs performed, and any recommendations for future maintenance. Provide detailed reports to clients as needed.

Qualifications:

Experience: Minimum of 3 years of supervisory or lead technician experience in swimming pool service and maintenance, with a focus on equipment installation, liner and tile work, repairs, chemical maintenance, and pool cleaning.

Technical Skills: Proficient in using tools and equipment related to swimming pool service and repairs. Knowledge of pool chemistry and water treatment. Computer proficient using MS office, email applications, and I-phone.

Communication Skills: Excellent communication and customer service skills to interact effectively with clients and address their needs.

Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to troubleshoot and resolve issues independently.

Physical Fitness: Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various weather conditions.

Driver's License: Must have a valid driver's license for at least 3 years, with a clean driving record.

Background Check: Must pass a background check.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Additional certifications in pool maintenance or related fields are a plus.
