    OVERVIEW:

     

    Our client, a global leader in the development, manufacturing and marketing of innovative medical products for the treatment and management of respiratory disorders, with a focus on sleep-disordered breathing, seeks an accomplished HR PEOPLE SHARED SERVICES SPECIALIST.

    *** DURATION: 3-6 MONTHS, TEMP-TO-HIRE

     

    NOTES:

    ·        Candidate needs to be able to work onsite at the corporate office Mondays, preferably Mon - Wed and home on Thursday and Friday but can be flexible.

    ·        Shift hours: Flexible to work anytime between 7:00am - 6:00pm PT (8-hour shift)

    ·        Interview: HireVue, then Zoom

    ·        Availability to work 40 hours weekly.

     

    DESCRIPTION:

    ·        The PSS Specialist is a key member of the regional PSS team focusing on operating efficiently to attract, hire, and retain top talent in the United States, Canada, and Central- & South- American countries.

    ·        The PSS Specialist supports core People processes such as onboarding, employee life cycle management, and off boarding.

    ·        Act as initial point of contact for People - related inquiries (i.e., employee changes, Benefits, Compensation, Talent Acquisition, Payroll, polices & procedures, etc.).  Redirect and escalate, as necessary.

    ·        Collaborate with cross-functional team members to resolve team member issues in a thorough and timely manner (People Business Partners, Benefits, Compensation, Talent Acquisition, Payroll, Finance, Systems, Facilities, I.T., Mobility, etc.).

    ·        Maintain and validate team member data in People Systems.

    ·        Serve as on-site Document Compliance specialist (i.e., ensure all team member files are up to date (i.e., creation, updates, audits, & archives).

    ·        Provide support to several key people processes:

    o   Recruitment – route job requisitions for approval, schedule interviews, schedule candidate travel arrangements, etc.

    o   Onboarding – enter new hire data, prepare new hire swag bags & shipments, complete e-verify, verify compliance of new hire documents, etc.

    o   Events – coordinate Administration Professionals’ Day within Americas region, coordinate team meetings (i.e., order catering, set up materials), etc.

    o   Misc. – complete verification of employment letters, support local mobility, support regional award programs, make department supply orders, distribute department mail, etc.

    ·        Create, streamline, and upkeep core PSS processes to drive efficiency and best-in-class team member experience.

    ·        Other duties as assigned.

     

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    ·        Minimum of 2 year of Human Resources experience in similar industry.

    ·        Candidates need to be heavily detail-oriented, organized, and diligent.

    ·        Good work ethic, excited and passionate about what they do.

    ·        Minimum of 2 year of experience working with HR systems.

    o   Preferably Oracle, Cornerstone, Neocase, and Workday.

    o   At minimum 1 year of experience in one of the above listed systems.

    ·        Minimum of 1 year of working experience scheduling in Microsoft Outlook.

    ·        Strong familiarity with Microsoft Outlook, Word, & PowerPoint is required.

    ·        Strong focus on customer-service including outstanding interpersonal skills. Strong sense of confidentiality. Strong attention to detail and follow through.

    ·        Ability to work as a team member with the ability to flex with changing priorities based on business needs. Excellent organizational skills.

     

    PREFERRED:

    ·        Bachelor’s degree is strongly preferred.

    ·        HR certification is preferred.

    ·        Ability to perform Excel pivot tables and v-look ups is preferred.

    ·        Experience with Visio is preferred.
