    Our client is US Fortune 500 company and a provider of managed Health care, Pharmacy benefits & specialty areas for managed care organizations / employers / government agencies, seeks DATA ENTRY SPECIALIST (PART TIME ROLE).

     

     

    CANDIDATES MUST BE LOCAL TO OXNARD WILL NEED TO GO ON SITE FOR TRAINING FOR 1-2 WEEKS

    CAN WORK REMOTELY AFTER TRAINING PART TIME ROLE. ~24 HOURS/WEEK

    MONDAY-FRIDAY. SCHEDULE MAY CHANGE WEEKLY DEPENDING ON BUSINESS NEEDS


    JOB TITLE: DATA ENTRY SPECIALIST (PART TIME ROLE)

    DURATION: 3 MONTHS ASSIGNMENT WITH POSSIBLE EXTENSION

    LOCATION: 1901 NORTH SOLAR DRIVE, SUITE 265, OXNARD, CA 93036

     

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    ·         The main function of a data entry specialist is to operate data entry devices, such as a keyboard or computer, to verify and input data.

    ·         A typical data entry specialist is responsible for accurate information documentation and personal project management.

    ·         Technical skills include documentation skills and time management.

    ·         Review and approve source documents such as canceled checks, sales reports, or bills, and enter data in specific data fields or onto tapes or disks for subsequent entry, using keyboards or scanners.

    ·         Review and correct data entry errors submitted by staff.

    ·         Approve and audit data with source documents.

    ·         Review and audit logs of activities and completed work.

     

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    ·         High school diploma or GED required.

    ·         Must have 5 to 7 years of Data Entry background in healthcare industry.

    ·         Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and interpersonal skills.

    ·         Ability to work independently and manage ones time.

    ·         Ability to accurately document and record customer/client information.

    ·         Basic mentoring skills necessary to provide support and constructive performance feedback.

    ·         Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word and Excel.

    ·         Detail Oriented & better than average internet and computer skills.

    ·         Ability to review Healthplan information about patient effective dates, benefit plans, and provider designation and update client patient database accurately.
