    LOCATION: THE WOODLANDS, TX (100% REMOTE WORK)

    DURATION: 7 MONTHS+ CONTRACT WITH HIGH POSSIBILITY OF EXTENSION!!!

     

    JOB DESCRIPTION

    The Sr. Software Engineer works under the guidance of a Technical Lead and/or Architect in writing quality code in an agile environment. As a member of the project team, you will develop software using agile practices, interact with business partners, service providers and third-party vendors and take part in different phases of software development lifecycle.

    • 7+ years of enterprise level development experience in core and Enterprise Microsoft technologies like Classic ASP, ASP.NET, C# .NET, Web forms

    • In-depth knowledge of relational database technologies like MS SQL Server and T-SQL

    • Hands-on experience with frontend technologies like VBScript, Java Script, Bootstrap, CSS

    • Experience with SCM tools like Subversion, Git, Jenkins and software development tools like an IDE (MS Visual Studio)

    • Hands on working experience in implementing and consuming web services using REST, SOAP

    • Experience with Agile Development methodology and team collaboration tools like Jira and Confluence

    • Experience with enterprise web application servers like IIS

    • Critical Skills:

    • Ability to troubleshoot to understand root cause

    • Ability to convey and articulate viewpoint to technical and non-technical folks

    • Ability to work on tight deadlines

    • Ability to work with competing priorities

    • Ability to effectively collaborate with peers and partners

     

    Additional Knowledge/Skills

    • Experience working in Healthcare and knowledge of Healthcare domain is very desirable.
