Role Overview:
As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), you will be responsible for generating and qualifying leads to drive revenue growth and expand Amira Learning's market presence. Your success will be measured by your ability to identify potential customers, initiate meaningful conversations, and schedule meetings for the sales team.
Responsibilities:
● Conduct research to identify potential customers within the K-12 education market.
● Reach out to prospects via phone, email, and other channels to introduce Amira's AI-powered reading tutor and create interest.
● Qualify leads by understanding their needs, pain points, and buying readiness.
● Collaborate with Account Executives to ensure a seamless handoff of qualified leads. ● Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all interactions and lead generation activities in the CRM system.
● Continuously learn about Amira's products and value proposition to effectively communicate key messages to prospects.
● Participate in team meetings and sales training sessions to enhance your knowledge and sales skills.
● Collaborate with the marketing team to optimize lead generation campaigns and strategies. ● Meet and exceed assigned targets for lead generation and conversion rates.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications-
● 1-3 years of experience in Sales Development or a similar role, preferably within the education technology industry.
● Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage prospects and build rapport.
● Self-motivated and results-driven, with a strong desire to achieve and exceed targets. ● Excellent research and prospecting skills, with the ability to identify key decision-makers within educational institutions.
● Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and other sales productivity tools.
● Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
● Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred but not required.
