We are recruiting a Preschool Teacher to join our wonderful team of educators at Bright Skies Montessori in Penngrove. JOB DETAILS

• Hours are 8:15am to 4:45pm (subject to slight adjustments)
• Runs Toddlers-in-Transition program (ages 2 to ~3.5) during morning; supports Primary program (ages 2.5 through 6) in afternoon; and runs after school program from 3pm to 4:30pm.
• Teacher develops curriculum, tracks children's development and runs conferences
• Experienced in family communication

QUALIFICATIONS

• 12 Early Childhood Education units
• Experienced in academic program delivery for children ages 2 through 6 years old, in particular the 2 to ~3.5 year old cohort
• Believes in the benefits of vaccinations (including annual flu vaccines) and evidence based public health policy
• Must be reliable and collaborative colleague
• Must be open-minded to exploring Montessori, emergent and nature-based curriculum and other constructivist philosophies in the classroom.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States. 

• Must pass all health and safety clearances mandated by law. These include 
criminal record clearances and health statement/TB
