CALLING ALL UNDERGRADUATE JOURNALISM & COMMUNICATION MAJORS!

Amper is growing our marketing team, and we are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Content Marketing Intern. Amper is a fast-growing tech company headquartered in Chicago's River West neighborhood. We build a simple but powerful platform that helps manufacturers reduce costs, increase visibility and drive efficiency.

The Content Marketing Intern would work cross-functionally with our Director of Marketing, sales team, product team, channel partners, and freelancers to create content about different factors impacting the manufacturing industry. The ideal person will have a passion for storytelling and the written word.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Own & manage Amper's content calendar
• Write blogs, website & email copy, long-form eBooks, video scripts, and more
• Proactively scope new topics to write about through keyword research, Google alerts, and industry publications
• Interview company stakeholders & customers and turn their words into relevant content
• Stay up-to-date on the latest content marketing trends

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

• 1 year of experience writing in a professional setting (example: for an internship, charity, club and/or association)
• Startup or B2B tech experience preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Currently studying Marketing, Communications or Journalism from an accredited university
• Familiarity with Google Analytics, WordPress, or Hubspot a plus

This is currently a remote position, but we will prioritize students who are available to come into our Chicago - River West office when it is safe to do so.
