    Job Description

    Lead Data Scientist – Marketing for Biopharmaceuticals

     

    We are looking for a hands-on Lead Data Scientist with experience in biotech who will support marketing teams. You will be joining a talented group of people creating new products targeting the human microbiome. This is a highly collaborative team of scientists, physicians, engineers, R&D, manufacturing, clinical, marketers and salespeople who share a common goal: Improving human health by using the latest research from microbiology, molecular biology, genomics, distributed computing, pharmaceutical development and nutrition. You will assist in building products that will help improve the lives of people globally.

     

    Acting collaboratively as a partner and educational advocate, you will help internal users learn how to translate their domain expertise into exciting data analytic insights they’ll be able to use. As an expert in end-to-end data flow, you will work closely with marketing and business teams. You will design KPI reporting and dashboards to monitor business performance. You will provide in-depth insights into drivers of business performance and analyze new and existing business initiatives across different tools, including CRM, retention, digital, customer service, nutrition experts, etc. Part of this role will have you managing and building the infrastructure to be able to test and measure business tactics for acquisition and retention strategies, and bridge the gap between business requirements and technical implementation. We are looking for someone comfortable being an individual contributor who can also manager/mentor a team of data scientists and analysts.

     

    We do seek specific experience working with marketing and business teams on complex problems and translating them into efficient, scalable, and easy to maintain data engineering and analytical solutions. Knowledge of Google Analytics, GoogleAds and Tag Manager, as well as experience working with a CRM/CPM is also required.

     

    This is a highly visible role within the organization and this person needs to be self-motivated with the ability to jump right in, figure out what is needed, and what should be prioritized as next steps. This is an awesome team in a very transparent organization.
