Job Description

Growing Real Estate Management and Development firm is seeking an experienced Residential Public Relations Manager to oversee day to day operations of multiple properties, including accounting, tenant relations, maintenance and repair, security, janitorial services, landscaping, snow removal, etc.

 Responsibilities:

    Proactive team player who thrives in a collaborative environment.     Ability to lead, coordinate, produce, and manage multiple deliverables simultaneously.     Positive attitude demonstrating initiative and willingness to support and provide direction as it pertains to internal and external communication strategies.     Highly strategic individual who can engage with internal partners to develop, execute, and analyze marketing and PR campaigns in diverse markets.     Well rounded experience that includes written and verbal communication skills with regards to responding to media inquiries, coordinating and facilitating interviews, briefing     materials, press releases, thought leadership and newsletter articles, social media, listings/rankings, award submissions, and overall internal/external messaging.     Strong project management and facilitation skills that encourages collaboration and drives execution on messaging both internally and externally.

Technical Skills

    Possesses established media relations, preferably within AEC industry.     Strong creative and technical writing skills, preferably within the construction industry.     Ability to manage local and industry-specific media listings and distributions.     Ability to create finalized deliverables and copy as it pertains to media releases, event coordination, social media, press kits, website updates and internal communication.     Experience seeking out appropriate media opportunities to support strategic initiatives.     Develop and implement communication strategies and messaging that supports our brand and provides a positive experience for internal and external partners.     Ability to conduct interviews and generate marketing and PR materials highlighting people, projects, company initiatives, enhanced services and trends to create compelling messages to    media outlets.     Ability to proactively coordinate, manage, and track multiple projects simultaneously.     Experience in crisis management and statement generation and distribution.     Event management, coordination, and planning to support community and client outreach.     Proficient in conducting client, industry and market research to support the development of PR and marketing materials.     Ability to generate detailed media activity reports.     Experience creating and implementing targeted marketing

Qualifications

    Bachelors degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, Business, or related field.     5 or more years of previous experience in similar role coordinating media relations, distribution, writing, and internal/external communications management.     Experience in creative and technical writing including personnel and project press releases, industry publications and articles, internal communications, overall messaging and branding.     Preferred but not required proficiency and technical ability in Adobe Suite, specifically InDesign, Photoshop, Premiere and Illustrator.     Desktop proficiency in all Microsoft applications.     Experience with CRM database management systems. Microsoft Dynamics CRM a plus.     Experience with media monitoring platforms. Metlwater is a plus.     Experience in social media management. Hootsuite is a plus.     Exceptional organizational, writing, communication, time management, and project management skills.
