COMPASS SELF STORAGE - MARKETING MANAGER
As Marketing Manager for Amsdell Companies/Compass Self Storage, you will work closely with several individuals within the company and with our external vendors and partners. This is an outstanding opportunity for someone with digital marketing experience to help drive success for our properties. This key role reports to our Director of Marketing & Public Relations.
Responsibilities Include:
1. Work closely with external website firm to assist with executing digital strategy for Compass Self Storage. This includes involvement with organic, paid and social media strategies with a strong focus on Google. 2. Assist with Online Reputation Management and local listings programs for Compass Self Storage. This includes working with our strategic partner and District Manager teams to identify opportunities and execute programs to drive positive results. 3. Produce and analyze various reports to measure success of marketing efforts and ROI. Make recommendations to improve and optimize programs as needed. Assist with budget management and tracking reports. 4. Assist with Branding direction and guidance for physical marketing at self storage centers. This includes large scaled signage, smaller on property signage and overall brand standard adherence. Ensure that customer experience online reflects the high standards we set at the property level. 5. Support marketing efforts (online and offline) when adding new self storage center locations by acquisition or development. 6. Assist as editor/content creator for company publications. Work with field and internal company departments to solicit and write articles. 7. Help manage content and social media sites for Compass Self Storage. 8. Assist with various tasks and duties assigned to the marketing team. This may include support with print marketing (and associated resources), development of marketing programs, support for physical store marketing and events, and overall analysis of data.

Experience: 3 – 5 years of experience in digital marketing required. Experience with managing team members a plus. Experience utilizing Google Analytics, Google Ads, CRM software, Email software such as Mailchimp, Emma or other. Online and Social Media Management Tools (such as Reptuation.com, Meltwater or Hootsuite) considered a plus, but not mandatory.
