JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a Test Engineer who will provide high-level direct support to Test & Repair Department. This person will assist Test Manager to prepare documents for repair services, perform in house testing, component level trouble shooting, configuration, calibration and repair of the client's products.

The successful candidate will be a highly organized, self-directed individual with superior electronic technical skills and experience. In this role, the Test Technician will interact with all levels of management and employees throughout the organization, necessitating strong communication, high technical and customer service skills.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

· Prepare all repair service documents to submit to billing.

· Troubleshoot products, instruments, modules and printed circuit boards to the component level.

· Perform component level repair at the printed circuit board level.

· Perform, document, and provide detailed component level failure analysis.

· Effectively interact with engineering and operations in support of Test and Repair Dept.

· Provide technical support for electrical and mechanical aspects of various products and systems.

· Configure, test, and calibrate new production instruments and products for order fulfillment.

· Calibrate, upgrade, test and repair returned customer owned instruments and products.

· Record all test data and failure information into the production/repair data collection system.

· Make recommendations to improve quality or production test methods and processes.

· Open to learn and perform other duties as assigned.
