MIXED MEDIA MODELING DATA SCIENTIST
LOCATION: 100% REMOTE (PST WORKING HOURS)
DURATION: 6-12+ MONTH CONTRACT (LIKELY TO EXTEND)
MUST HAVES:
- Robust knowledge in SQL - time series, forecasting, days in, methods, econometric modeling
- Python preferred, R is fine
- "MARKET MIX MODELING" OR "MEDIA MIX MODELING" OR MMM OR "MIX MEDIA" or econometric experience
NEED:
- Someone who is very advanced in this space. Years of Experience - Looking for someone who understands and knows how this whole thing has to be done. Deep knowledge. Done the work hands on not from a theoretical point of view. Put something into production.
- Bringing the data from many different places into one lakehouse, doing some light data transformation to get it into one state that everyone else can use. Make sure the processes are robust (Data Engineer)
- This is a role where we're going "okay...we have a lot of data. How do we make use of this information to make sure we're making the best business decisions."
- Not using visualizations more algorithm based.
DAY TO DAY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Partner with marketing, product, and finance to drive customer acquisition
- Build robust statistical models to measure campaign performance
- Recommend optimal allocation of ad budget across portfolio, geographies, and channels
- Continuously experiment to improve our ability and confidence to make casual inference
- Build production-grade Client-based systems to automate and optimize ad buying strategies for profit maximization
