POSITION SUMMARY 

At Amuse, we are seeking passionate individuals to represent the Amuse brand, which prides itself on our customer experience. As an Operations Lead - your role will be to monitor and supervise a team of employees to achieve all goals that pertain to daily operations. Operations Leads are expected to motivate and inspire their team by creating an environment that promotes positive communication. You will follow and enforce all standard operating procedures, train associates in all aspects of the operation, flex in all positions whenever needed and lead by example. You will report directly to the Depot Manager. You will be expected to keep your finger on the pulse of all daily depot operations by having a heightened awareness of the day's goals and how to accomplish them by identifying any potential roadblocks and addressing them proactively. You will also ensure the success of our fulfillment center by assisting with the inbound, outbound, and inventory portions of our operation.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

• Field all questions/ concerns of depot staff in the Manager’s absence
• Train depot staff in all aspects of daily operations
• Flex into any position as needed throughout the day
• Attempt to find coverage for all open shifts in the event of an absence or call-out
• Efficiently and effectively receive and store goods per standard operating procedures
• Pick and pack customer orders ensuring a high level of quality and productivity
• Receive Bulk Orders from vendors (move boxes) into the warehouse
• Manage storage (storing compactly and safely) and regulate storage space for billing purposes
• Build delivery associate kits for their respective shifts
• Check-in delivery associates for their respective shifts
• Track returned orders, log and restock failed orders, and reprint receipts for delivery associates on-the-road that received price adjustments for successful deliveries
• Support delivery associates with on-the-road issues
• Debrief delivery associates upon their return
• Monitor the flow of paperwork to appropriate departments for timely data entry and compliance
• Adhere to safety, quality and production standards
• Monitor drivers and picking performance to ensure daily goals are met
• Support manager on duty when in need of assistance
• Follow state and local compliance regarding cannabis
• Other duties as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES)

• High School Diploma or GED preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 1-2 years of related experience working in warehousing, operations or a similar industry
• Previous experience in the Cannabis Industry preferred
• Manual dexterity required for operating machinery
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Ability to be a team player and meet deadlines
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
