    POSITION SUMMARY 

    We are looking for a dedicated Recruitment Coordinator to be part of the  HR team and work with departmental teams to attract and hire new employees for our company. The Recruitment Coordinator is responsible for all aspects of the hiring process, from collaborating on writing job descriptions to submitting reports on the recruitment process.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

    • Interacting with department heads to identify job openings and prepare job descriptions and requirements.
    • Posting job openings on media and social media outlets.
    • Evaluate and screen resumes and cover letters
    • Finding and filtering appropriate job applicants and performing reference checks.
    • Scheduling and conducting interviews.
    • Provide a shortlist of qualified candidates to hiring managers
    • Occasionally arranging travel for candidates to interviews.
    • Extending job offers and arranging the relevant documents.
    • Compiling reports on recruitment for the HR Department.
    • Help the hiring team with recruiting methods and interview questions
    • Participating in recruitment events, such as career fairs, preparing information packets, and gathering information from suitable candidates.
    • Design and implement an overall recruiting strategy
    • Consult with managers to discover staff requirements and specific job objectives
    • Write and post job descriptions on career websites, newspapers and universities boards
    • Contact new employees and prepare onboarding sessions
    • Prepare new hire paperwork ensuring legislation requirements are met
    • Maintain a complete record of interviews and new hires
    • Stay up-to-date with current recruiting methods

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES)

    • A Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources or a related field preferred
    • Experience in and knowledge of recruitment process.
    • Knowledge of employment legislature and practices.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Good interpersonal skills.
    • Knowledge of HR resources and tools.
