The Merchandise Coordinator is a key contributor to the management of the product portfolio from acquisition to point of sale by supporting the restoration, preparation, and quality control of each item. In addition, this position provides experience using a specialized inventory management system and the creation of product images for marketing and reselling needs. This position offers hands-on experience working with brand name and designer products. In this position, you will receive an education in the preparation and staging of garments, handbags, shoes, and other small accessories for resale. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Entering items into inventory management system Cleaning and spot treating Steaming and ironing Fabric shaving Photographing items Measuring items Bagging and labeling items The ideal candidate is detail-oriented and can work in a fast-paced, high volume environment with minimal supervision. Previous retail experience, background in art, dry-cleaning, and/or fashion are preferred. The candidate must also have their own laptop and smart phone capable of taking high-resolution photographs with sharing capabilities (Airdrop preferred).
