  • Responsibilities

    Position Summary:

    The Analyst, Treasury and FP&A is responsible for managing the company’s finances, including cash flow, investments, debt and financial planning. This role requires strong leadership, analytical skills and expertise in financial markets and instruments. This position will report to the VP, Finance and act as a strategic advisor to senior management on financial matters and ensure the company’s financial stability and long-term goals are met.


    Key Accountabilities:

    • Cash Flow Management: Oversee and develop global rolling cash forecasts, analyze working capital needs, and ensure adequate liquidity.
    • Strategic Planning: Directs the development of financial plans, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial strategy.
    • Debt Management: Manage capital market financing, debt covenants, and compliance with debt agreements.
    • Financial Analysis: Conducts in-depth analysis of financial data, identifies trends, and provides insights to support business decisions.
    • Financial Risk Management: Manage foreign exchange and interest rate risks through hedging programs and other risk mitigation strategies.
    • Reporting: Prepares and presents financial reports, dashboards, and analyses to senior management and the board.
    • Banking Relationships: Build and maintain relationships with financial institutions, negotiate bank fees, and evaluate new banking products and services.
    • Reporting and Compliance: Prepare financial reports, monitor compliance with regulations, and develop and maintain treasury operational policies.
    • Ad-hoc Analysis: Completes ad-hoc analytical assessments as needed.

    Qualifications: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required to perform the position successfully.

    Education, Certificates, and Licenses:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
    • CPA, CFA or relevant certification would be a plus

    Experience:

    • 3 plus years of experience in a related role. Preference for some direct LNG experience.

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

    • In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial statement analysis, and management reporting.
    • Advanced skills with Microsoft Excel and financial software applications.
    • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills (written and verbal).
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of synthesizing complex information into actionable insights.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a propensity for attention to detail and ability to work in a time-conscious and time effective manner with minimal supervision.
    • Professional demeanor and willingness to cooperatively participate as a member of the team in a mission-based organization.
