Responsibilities:
Perform quantitative and qualitative chemical analyses using industry-standard instrumentation and techniques for cannabis related products
Develop, validate, and optimize analytical methods to meet project and regulatory requirements
Operate and maintain laboratory equipment such as HPLC, LC/MS, GC/MS, GC, MS, and spectroscopy instruments
Accurately document experimental data, results, and observations in laboratory notebooks and LIMS
Interpret analytical data and prepare detailed technical reports for internal stakeholders
Ensure compliance with safety protocols, SOPs, and quality control standards
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support R&D, quality assurance, and production goals
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or higher in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or a related field
1+ years of hands-on laboratory experience in an analytical or research setting
Proficiency with analytical instrumentation such as HPLC, GC-MS, or UV-Vis spectroscopy
Strong understanding of method development, validation, and GLP/GMP practices with working knowledge of CRA and ISO requirements
Excellent attention to detail with strong data interpretation and problem-solving skills
Effective written and verbal communication skills for reporting and collaboration
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced lab environment
