Job Description

Perform sample and standard preparation, instrument setup, and general lab maintenance under the direction of chemists.

• Perform sample and calibration standard preparation under the direction of chemists.
• Prepare standard acid matrices in carboys and fill DI water carboys.
• Wash lab glassware and maintain general lab cleanliness.
• Monitor hood airflow; verify balance, volumetrics, and pipettes calibration as needed.
• Pull and replace QC retains as directed by chemists.
• Dispose of hazardous waste.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent
• Knowledge of MS office (word and excel) is preferred
• Basic knowledge of chemistry is highly preferred
