Job Description

• Provide support for general analytical methods to characterize purified proteins/antibodies, including assessment of titer, concentration, purity and relevant biophysical properties.
• Prepare buffers and samples and acquire data using instruments such as HPLCs and other relevant equipment.
• Help instrument maintenance / calibration, and perform basic troubleshooting as needed
• Work collaboratively with client team on-site to ensure smooth operation of lab instruments, and to achieve critical research objectives and timelines.
• Data analysis and data capture of experimental results using E-notebook and data sharing in a timely manner.
• Detail oriented and precise in routine lab practice.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biochemistry, biology or similar discipline
• Basic knowledge of lab activities, such as making buffers, performing calculations, documenting experiments and data analysis.
• Experience in basic protein analytical characterizations technique, familiar with HPLCs is highly desirable.
• Experience with biophysical assays and other analytical techniques is a plus
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Additional Information

• Position is full-time, first-shift, Monday - Friday 8AM-5PM.
• Pay range: $53,000 - $60,000
