ESTIMATOR / PROJECT MANAGER

INCORPORATED IN 1964, ANASTASI TRUCKING & PAVING CO. IS A SECOND-GENERATION, FULL-SERVICE, SITE DEVELOPMENT CONSTRUCTION COMPANY. We are seeking a full-time ESTIMATOR/PROJECT MANAGER WHO WILL BE BASED AT OUR LANCASTER SITE.

COMPENSATION:

• Full benefits package
• Salary based on experience

DUTIES INCLUDE:

• Obtain bid documents and attend pre-bid meetings
• Perform quantity take-offs
• Prepare accurate detailed estimates for sitework construction
• Estimate self-performed work, earthwork, underground utilities, concrete flatwork and curbs, asphalt paving, athletic field construction, and landscaping
• Solicit subcontractors and vendors for pricing
• Solicit and document M/WBE participation when applicable
• Develop a scope of work and prepare proposals for private projects
• Post bid follow up calls to General Contractors and Owners
• Manage projects from award through closeout

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong computer skills
• EXPERIENCE USING SPECIALIZED CONSTRUCTION ESTIMATING SOFTWARE
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task
• Thoroughly and accurately complete tasks
• Highly organized
• Ability to research and solve problems independently
• 2 OR 4-YEAR COLLEGE DEGREE
• 5 OR MORE YEARS’ EXPERIENCE IN SITEWORK CONSTRUCTION ESTIMATING
