    Anatolia Tile & Stone is a leading importer and distributor of ceramic and stone tile and is a major supplier to some of the largest distributors throughout the United States and Canada. Based in Toronto, Anatolia Tile & Stone is a privately owned 100% Canadian corporation that is growing rapidly. Currently we are looking for an eager, motivated Senior Brand Manager to join our team.

    About the Role:

    This role builds and sets the strategic vision and marketing direction of the Anatolia brand and its portfolio on a global scale. The Sr. Brand Manager is a future thinker who works to implement new ideas and concepts beyond the current day, while ensuring alignment with corporate goals and objectives. Working closely with cross functional teams and external vendors, the Sr. Brand Manager will elevate the Anatolia marketing experience to the next level for accelerated business growth.

    What You"ll Be Doing:

    Marketing Design + Execution

    Helps define and build the marketing vision and strategic direction of the Anatolia brand and its portfolio to become a well-recognized, trusted and desired brand within the industry.

    Leads the strategic direction and implementation of comprehensive go-to-market strategies and marketing communication plans, ensuring alignment with corporate business objectives.

    Develops annual business and support plans in partnership with cross functional teams.

    Develops industry-leading website and marketing materials to drive awareness while supporting our Business Development teams and customer-specific initiatives.

    Creates all marketing communications and content, to support website, packaging development, product catalogue and marketing collateral.

    Develops all marketing and media plans, including: website, traditional and non-traditional media.

    Develops launch and sustain plans for new products, including fact-based recommendations for volume targets, local market pricing strategy, distribution strategy, budget proposals, P&L generation and critical path.

    Leads execution of launch plans and analyze results to plan.

    Works with the Media and Digital agencies to develop best-in-class communications; develop detailed briefing documents and provide feedback during recommendation reviews.

    Leads through strong collaboration and clear communication to engage and align cross functional partners.

    Works in close collaboration with our Business Development team to develop joint business plans.

    Shares learnings on competitive positioning, products, brands and marketing activities.

    Pro-active management and timely communication of key business issues/challenges.

    Applies understanding of marketing mix modeling and spend optimization opportunities/tactics, ensures plans and launches are validated and executed with excellence and on budget.

    Liaise with suppliers of marketing materials, ensuring timely delivery to stores and/or distributors.

    Develop and maintain a preferred vendor list for outsourced projects.

    Performs other duties as assigned.

    People + Relationship Management

    Foster strong partnerships and cross functional collaboration with leadership in Product Development, Merchandising, Creative, Business Development and Operations.

    Builds and inspires strong employee engagement, mentoring and empowers team members.

    Proactively and supportively manages performance of direct report with regular coaching, feedback and development discussions.

    Creates standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions, ensuring staff are trained and held accountable to adhering to established work processes.

    Acts as a liaison between the employer and workers for ensuring that staff remain current on company policies and procedures, along with compliance to all applicable health, safety and environmental guidelines.

    Establishes and delivers Marketing metrics/measures and operating objectives ensuring functions are carried out with cost effectiveness and consistency with prescribed quality and performance standards.

    Takes the appropriate steps to ensure employees are appropriately managed in a manner that maintains positive employee relations while achieving productivity goals in a manner that is quality and safety-oriented.

    Carries out a variety of performance management activities, including coaching for peak performance throughout the year and completing appraisals as required.

    Provides support and assistance to the Joint Health and Safety Committee as required to ensure hazards, deficiencies or improvement opportunities are promptly addressed or remediated.

    Participates in regular meetings as required, participates in various interdepartmental meetings to resolve issues and improve efficiencies as required.

    Supervisory Responsibilities: Manages one direct report.

    What You Bring:

    Post-secondary degree in Marketing or a related field; MBA is considered an asset.

    5+ years of brand marketing experience in Consumer Package Goods industry is preferred.

    Experience managing direct reports, agencies and leadership of cross-functional partners.

    Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing to a wide variety of audiences.

    Acts with passion and sense of urgency as a proven multi-tasker, with a self-motivated and efficient approach to driving a successful team.

    Leads by influencing others, building alignment, maintaining effective relationships, and communicating with effectiveness.

    Demonstrated accountability, integrity, flexibility, adaptability, and an entrepreneurial spirit.
