    Anatolia Tile & Stone is a leading importer and distributor of ceramic and stone tile and is a major supplier to some of the largest distributors throughout the United States and Canada. Based in Toronto, Anatolia Tile & Stone is a privately owned 100% Canadian corporation that is growing rapidly. Currently we are looking for eager, motivated Operations & Merchandising Assistant to join our growing team.

    Position Summary

    This role is responsible for providing administrative support to the production and maintenance functions of the organization.

    Duties & Responsibilities

    Tracking consumption of non-inventory consumables and ordering when necessary

    Creating and summarizing completed merchandising tracking sheets

    Help the Merchandising Planner co-ordinate shipments to outside vendors

    Updating ETA in portal for customer visibility of all projects in production

    Creating inbound receipts for the warehouse

    Creating outbound shipments

    Generating purchase orders

    Following up vendors as necessary to obtain late or missing materials

    Collaborating with the Merchandising Planner to ensure required materials are available to meet production schedules

    Providing assistance to the Merchandising Planner with large home center projects

    Analyzing outstanding customer back-order to ensure proper production planning

    Providing backup or assistance as required in performing item set up for the Merchandising Planner

    Enters, updates and maintains the preventative maintenance, predictive and calibration programs

    Responsible for the repair and work order system to ensure the timely resolution and documentation

    Monitors and maintains an up to date list of all chemicals used within the facility

    Serves as a key SAP user for managing the Preventative Maintenance program once implemented

    Performs other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    Post-secondary education required; in a related field is highly preferred.

    1 to 3 years of related experience required with demonstrated capabilities in performing all duties accurately, efficiently, and safely.

    Proficient in ERP system; SAP experience preferred

    High level of proficiency required with Microsoft Office Suite (specifically Excel)

    Strong time management skills and attention to detail required.

    Ability to prioritize effectively, multitask accurately, and execute successfully

    Ability to work under pressure and with tight deadlines.

    Strong English communication skills required, both verbal and written

    Demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively with peers and with external parties in a timely and courteous manner
