    Anatolia Tile & Stone is a leading importer and distributor of ceramic and stone tile and is a major supplier to some of the largest distributors throughout the United States and Canada.     About the Role:

    The Graphic Designer will be responsible for producing graphic art and visual material layouts for print, product packaging, photography, and creation of any other pieces to meet the marketing objectives for the company including but not limited to print and web projects.

    What You"ll Be Doing:

    Update, design, and create brochures, advertisements, internal documents, and other marketing materials

    Create graphics, icons, and templates and marketing related materials.

    Develop concepts and themes for marketing materials

    Take an innovative and creative approach to print and web design

    Ensure that branding guidelines established by the company are adhered to

    Regular updating of the company website using basic skills such as html, css and java script

    Research and find photos and graphics for various in-house projects

    Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to adhere to project timelines

    Design internal communication materials to support HR initiatives such as event posters, company newsletter, and internal company website

    Maintenance of server filing system, designer server and archival documents

    What You Bring:

    Post-secondary degree/diploma in graphic design from a recognized art/design school

    A minimum of 5 years of experience in print and web graphic design

    Demonstrated experience and ability working with moderately complex information that involve unrelated processes and methods using different variations in daily routine

    Demonstrated accountability for quality, accuracy and adherence to work instructions with discretion required when exercising duties within pre-determined limits and procedures

    Demonstrated understanding that work contributions have some influence beyond the immediate Creative department and as such duties are executed with care, accuracy and compliance to instructions

    Demonstrated ability to proactively come up with creative/innovative solutions and generate new ideas as nature of work requires a high degree of creativity/innovation in carrying out duties.

    Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with other departments as interactions are generally with peers within the work area

    Capability interacting with internal and external customers, providing them with correct information, straightforward support and common courtesy

    Understanding that work efforts may have a minor impact on the employer brand and public reputation and as such ensure that behaviour and communications shall be professional and accurate at all times

    Advanced knowledge of 4 color, spot and digital printing process and prepress requirements in a must

    Strong typography, design, and layout skills

    Extensive knowledge on a Mac: InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop

    Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop), including digital/web production and sounds knowledge of MS office on Mac platform

    Understanding of Dreamweaver, Flash, CSS, Javascript, and HTML is considered an asset

    Video Editing knowledge considered an asset
