    Anatolia Tile & Stone is a leading importer and distributor of ceramic and stone tile and is a major supplier to some of the largest distributors throughout the United States and Canada. Based in Toronto, Anatolia Tile & Stone is a privately owned 100% Canadian corporation that is growing rapidly. Currently we are looking for an eager, motivated Learning & Development Coordinator to join our growing team.

    Position Summary

    The Learning & Development Coordinator is responsible for supporting organizational employee training and development initiatives that will enhance the knowledge, skills, and performance of individuals and teams at Anatolia Tile + Stone. Reporting to the Learning & Development Manager, the Learning & Development Coordinator will be a champion of fostering a continuous learning environment at Anatolia Tile + Stone, and will be an integral part in working with all levels of employees with respect to their learning and development goals so that both their career goals and the company’s business objectives are achieved.

    Duties & Responsibilities

    Learning & Development

    Organize, develop or source training content/programs to meet specific training needs and address identified overall skills gaps.

    Assist with creating new training modules, lessons or workshops. Modify and improve existing programs, as needed.

    Assist with Canadian and US company orientation programs, including reviewing, updating, and enhancing current orientation(s) in order to ensure materials are effective, relevant and up-to-date with business related and legislated content.

    Liaise with subject matter experts to develop training manuals, standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, multimedia visual aids, and other educational materials as required.

    Update and maintain company-wide Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) Tracker.

    Schedule training for employees; handle logistics for training activities including room booking, handouts and technology.

    Assist with facilitating learning through a variety of delivery methods including classroom instruction, virtual training, on-the-job coaching, etc.

    Assist in maintaining and improving skills inventories, flexibility charts, and training matrices.

    Assist with the learning management system (LMS) administrations; maintain all online course content, update user status and training records.

    Responsible for completing and maintaining all Learning & Development related KPIs.

    Complete other projects and perform other tasks as assigned.

    Readily solicits and accepts constructive feedback using a variety of methods in order to continuously improve training content and delivery methods.

    Builds and maintains collaborative relationships with internal customers.

    Conducts themselves professionally, tactfully, diplomatically, and influentially and possess the ability to communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization.

    Understanding that work efforts will have an immediate effect on the employer brand or public reputation, as such behaviour and communications shall be professional and accurate at all times.

    Qualifications

    Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a Learning & Development role.

    Bachelor’s degree in a related field.

    Strong English verbal and written communication skills.

    High level of proficiency in MS Office.

    Ability to quickly understand and utilize new software and technology, as it applies to creating learning and development materials.

    Experience with instructional design, facilitation and training.

    Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    Organized, detail oriented, thorough worker, accountable for self and results.

    Proven ability to work accurately and collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team.

    CHRP designation or in progress preferred.

    Adult Education Certificate, Achievement of Certified Training and Development Professional (CTDP) or Certified Training Practitioner (CTP) is considered an asset.

    Experience with Learning Management Systems is considered an asset.

    Works effectively and efficiently in a fast-paced organization with an evolving culture with changing priorities

    Solid organization skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, on time and on budget .

    Flexible and able to work overtime hours as required, and must be able to get to this location reliably and consistently.

    Able to support training on 3-shift operations and at various locations in the GTA as necessary.
