Based in Toronto, Anatolia Tile & Stone is a privately owned 100% Canadian corporation that is growing rapidly. Currently we are looking for an Senior ABAP Developer to join our growing team.

    Position Summary

    The Senior ABAP Developer supports SAP project readiness. In doing so, this individual will handle user exit documentation and testing and will support integration of SAP modules and ABAP development for SAP SD, MM, FI, CO, PP, QM, EWM. In addition to providing Go-live and post go-live support.

    Design, implement and deploy SAP solutions to achieve defined business goals. Maintain skills in SAP applications process design and configuration; SAP application design, development, integration, testing and deployment; and SAP application technical architecture.

    Duties & Responsibilities

    Performs SAP ABAP development and customization for projects

    Analyzes user requirements to determine SAP system configuration and/or customization

    Evaluates business need for system customizations and conducts appropriate cost/benefit analysis, and produces technical designs for identified customizations

    Analyzes systems specifications and uses the latest analysis tools to represent business/technical processes in a system solution

    Builds application pages, queries, programs and reports to support business needs

    Codes individual modules and functions as identified through technical design, develops conversion and implementation plans and ensures successful implementation of SAP system changes, monitoring changes for increased efficiency

    Writes and executes thorough technical and functional test plans to ensure SAP system changes are working properly including the use of batch scripts, online processes, databases, or interface files

    Ensures migrated changes are properly implemented and available to users

    Coordinates with SAP Business Analysts and/or other internal professionals to define detailed requirements, analyze business needs and validate solutions with clients and translate into configuration and/or customization technical design

    Through research and knowledge of SAP systems and applications, determines the most effective technical approach to define and resolve identified problem(s) with assistance and minimal client impact

    Performs other related duties as needed

    Qualifications

    Bachelors degree in Computer Sciences or a related/applicable field

    SAP ABAP certification required

    10 years of ABAP experience working

    2-5 years of SAP FIORI / UI5 / data experience

    SAP PO/PI experience an asset

    JAVA programming experience an asset

    Strong ABAP development experience for SAP modules SD, MM, FI, CO, PP, QM, EWM

    Working knowledge of business process flows in an SAP system

    Experience in full life cycle development with an emphasis on incremental, iterative development and deployment

    In-depth knowledge of SAP system development tools and languages is required, as well as an in-depth knowledge of SAP system configuration and security

    Detail oriented and able to work both independently as well as collaborate with functional, business user and external 3rd party teams

    Excellent customer service, written and oral communication, presentation and interpersonal skills

    Strong problem solving and business analysis skills and experience, including functional decomposition, requirements gathering and process modelling
