    Job Description

    Ancestry seeks a highly motivated, technically savvy Product Management intern to join our Trust & Collaboration (T&C) team. The T&C team is responsible for driving trust with our customers and fostering collaboration through confidence inspiring experiences and category-leading capabilities. The goal is to deliver products, features, and services that strengthen trust between Ancestry and customers across all aspects of our product. T&C services are fundamental to delivering a delightful experience that is consistent and yet personalized for each customer’s needs. As a Product Manager on the T&C services team, you will be the key linkage between customer needs and technical capabilities/services. You will work with a team of engineers, architects, designers, and analysts to build and manage a suite of services that help deliver delightful experiences to our customers.

    WHAT YOU’LL DO:

    • Create a robust backlog for the team based on customer research, stakeholder inputs, and business goals
    • Write detailed business and technical requirements to drive the formation of new capabilities, services, and workflows
    • Partner with engineers and architects to create scalable architecture around key product capabilities that need to extend across multiple product lines
    • Work with key stakeholders like legal, science, member services, and security to get additional inputs on customer requirements

    • Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
    • Passion for solving complex problems
    • Effective communications skills (written and oral), analytical aptitude, and collaborative mindset
    • Excellent quantitative and analytical skills
