    Internship Project Description

    This is what you will do…

    As a junior user researcher intern at Ancestry, you’ll work closely with other researchers, designers, customers, and product managers to test hypotheses about our audience and validate new product designs, as well as support regular ongoing research activities. You’ll work directly on Ancestry products and will collaborate with a variety of stakeholders to:

    • Coordinate and execute user research plans (including recruitment, scheduling, compensation, and technical prep)
    • Lead customer interviews and observation sessions
    • Test design prototypes
    • Compile and maintain documentation and recordings
    • Coordinate internal research communications

    We’re looking for someone who has a desire to grow a career in the field of user experience research. You’ll get direct, hands-on experience with shaping product design activities at Ancestry, as well as learn research methods from our team of seasoned researchers.
