Ancestry is currently seeking highly motivated, internet-savvy interns who can work full-time for 12-16 weeks during Summer 2018. Internship Project Description

This is what you will do….

• Learn about immigration and naturalization
• Research in US records
• Gain an understanding of the changes in families from the time of arrival in the US
• Learn to use and develop citations
• Develop skills in transcribing and abstracting records

Tasks & deliverables:

• Find and save records from online and FHL resources
• Update journal with transcriptions, research notes, citations and comments
• Build and update online trees
• Transcribe information from client provided materials
