    Job Description


    If you are passionate about Mobile Technology, specifically iOS & Android, this will be an incredible experience for you! You will work in a professional environment and have ample opportunity to network with department heads and other professionals within your discipline. The Associate Product Manager, Intern will work with the Senior Product Manager of one of our mobile groups.


    • Help come up with exciting new features for Ancestry’s suite of Mobile Apps, with a particular focus on our Peer-To-Peer Messaging Platform.
    • Learn about industry trends and the latest designs to make sure Ancestry’s apps continue to be the #1 tools for connecting families across the world.
    • Use Product Management tools to help drive the mobile roadmap and work directly with your Development & UX counterparts to see the new feature(s) come to life.


    • Brainstorm on core feature ideas for the Ancestry Mobile Messaging Platform.
    • Identify a Minimum Viable Product related to Peer-to-Peer Messaging and push it forward, specifically to get it user-tested for feedback and to identify next steps.
    • Create a plan and propose documentation to identify user problems to solve, the business metrics we’re looking to move, and how we plan on accomplishing those goals.
  • Qualifications



    • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s, master’s or Ph.D. level degree
    • Must be currently enrolled in a university and graduating after Summer 2019
    • Must be passionately interested in Mobile Technology, specifically iOS & Android devices and technologies.
    • Well-organized and works great with other people & teams.
