Internship Project Description

This is what you will do….

• Optimizing software that runs algorithms on customer genomic data.
• Improving testability for the team by generating genomic data and improving automation testing for these algorithms.

Tasks & deliverables:

• Through the course of the internship the you will be:
  • Building out applications to produce simulated genomic data.
  • Contributing improvements to DNA-processing applications.
• The last two weeks of the internship will be spent evaluating the applications you have worked on in terms of its usefulness to teams at Ancestry and how it can be further improved going forward.
