    Job Description

    The Design & Digital Marketing Specialist will be responsible for maintaining brand integrity and developing marketing collateral in support of the firm's business development efforts. This position reports to the Creative Services Manager and covers a broad range of responsibilities, including managing the website, creating email marketing campaigns, supporting initiatives, and helping oversee the design, formatting, and proofreading of print and digital brochures, client alerts and articles, invitations, advertisements, signage, and more.

    This position will work closely with the Head of Firmwide Communications and the Communications & Marketing Specialist on various initiatives, including helping manage internal communications and publishing content marketing campaigns. The position will require sound organization skills and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Depending on workflow and department bandwidth the individual may, on occasions, be required to assist with social media management, hosting webinars, producing podcasts and videocasts, supporting firmwide events, and other marketing related activities.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

    • Support all graphic and design projects as directed by our Creative Services Manager -- including, but not limited to: brochures, signs, client alerts, invitations, and advertisements.

    • Assist in establishing the company's visual brand by developing and maintaining consistent branded templates and marketing collateral for office events, national and regional advertising campaigns, tradeshow and event collateral, brochures and information sheets that support firmwide business development efforts.

    • Assist the Creative Services Manager to determine layout design to meet internal client needs. this includes creating designs, concepts, and sample layouts while adhering to brand standards.

    • Maintain archive of images, photos, and previous work products.

    • Liaise with external vendors to assist with website updates and enhancements and print production.

    • Support marketing technology initiatives like CRM and proposal automation.

    • Help oversee internal communications campaigns across the firm, including initiatives undertaken by the Human Resources and Attorney Recruiting departments.

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    A bachelor's degree (Graphic Design majors preferred).

    • 1-2 years of experience preferred in the legal and/or professional services environment working primarily within the marketing, communications, design, and/or web fields - studio or agency experience a major plus

    • Thorough understanding of typography and the ability to use type effectively

    • Working knowledge of standards-compliant HTML/CSS

    • Comfortable with email marketing tools (e.g., Mailchain, Campaign Monitor)

    • Comfortable working in a CMS (e.g., Drupal, Wordpress) to manage a website

    • Understanding and Awareness of social media outlets and how to leverage technology

    • Proven ability to think conceptually and successfully execute a creative vision with minimal art direction

    • Strong writing, editing and researching skills; ability to synthesize data and accurately capture it in a written narrative

    • Excellent organizational skills and motivation to work individually and as a team in a fast-paced, project-based environment

    • Detail-oriented with ability to muti-task

    • Ability to establish priorities and meet deadlines

    • Must be customer service oriented

    • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office

    • A complete portfolio of projects with examples of work across various media

    Additional Information

    Salary: $50,000 plus full benefits
