ADDEV MATERIALS IS A MEDIUM-SIZED ASSET-HOLDING BUSINESS THAT IS GROWING FAST. IT IS INCREASING ITS ADDED VALUE ON STRATEGIC MARKETS BY INTERVENING AS AN INDUSTRIAL SPECIALIST IN CONVERTING HIGH PERFORMANCE MATERIALS, SUCH AS INSULATION PRODUCTS, TECHNICAL FILMS, ADHESIVES, FOAMS, GLUES, ETC.

We are looking for a Sourcing Specialist responsible for developing and implementing supply base sourcing strategies, sourcing raw materials, product and services and managing suppliers performance. Your experience and knowledge of the industries and processes available will aid to establish new suppliers for our current and newly designed products. Your skills and vision to develop a broader qualified supply base, will be key to product development. You will partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, R&D, Sales, Supply and Quality to identify the best sources for parts and assemblies in order to deliver qualified products to the manufacturing line.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· DEVELOPMENT AND IMPLEMENTATION OF SUPPLY BASE SOURCING STRATEGIES FOR ASSIGNED PRODUCT CATEGORIES :

o Analyze the purchases of its scope : spend by suppliers and by product categories

o Propose the sourcing strategies by categories by establishing a target supplier panel and cost reduction action plans

o Deploy the sourcing strategies: communication of sourcing strategy and monitoring cost reduction action plans

o Monitor KPIs of its portfolio

· MANAGEMENT OF SOURCING AND RFI/RFQ:

o Identify suppliers able to meet our needs

o Manage supplier RFI/RFQ: select products and suppliers according to sourcing strategies

o Negotiate and execute contracts with suppliers

· MANAGEMENT OF SUPPLIER PERFORMANCE:

o Ensure the proper execution of contracts and manage any disputes

o Driving the evaluation of the supplier performance by indicators (cost, time, quality, ... etc.)

o Analyze the performance of suppliers and establish improvement plans

o Manage the supplier panel

o Provide innovation and business opportunities from strategic suppliers

· PARTICIPATE ACTIVELY IN THE IMPROVEMENT OF CROSS-PRACTICES AND PROJECTS OF THE PURCHASING DEPARTMENT

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS :

The ideal candidate will have the following attributes:

· Bachelor's Degree, ideally in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain OR equivalent related professional experience.

· 5 years procurement experience, ideally within a multicultural environment. Aerospace and/or chemical industry is a plus.

· Understanding of Strategic Sourcing methodologies related to vendor selection.

· Well versed in contract terminology and use of standard purchasing terms and conditions.

· Strong critical thinking, problem-solving and analytical skills, including ability to diagnose root causes and provide effective and sustainable solutions.

· Highly proficient in MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint. Other advanced analytics tools knowledge as a plus.

· Strong interpersonal (verbal and written) communication skills and team player.

· Proficiency in French is a plus

· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining great attention to detail and managing priorities.
