Benefits: • Bonus! • 2 weeks paid time off (PTO) to start! • Monthly contributions for Health Benefits! • Monday - Friday schedule Responsibilities: • Appear in court on behalf of clients and argue motions during legal proceedings • Analyze client needs, identify solutions, and determine case strategies • Perform research, draft briefs, pleadings, and motions • Passion for lawyering and being in the courtroom making a difference • Honesty is critical and good ethical character is essential • Love connecting with people • Passionate about helping others • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment • Treats a 4:30 call on Friday with the same care and compassion as one on Monday morning • Exceptional curiosity - Ownership mindset Qualifications: • Admitted to practice law in Tennessee • General or criminal law experience is a plus • Experience in other law firms or government legal departments is a plus • At least 3 years of criminal law experience preferred Compensation: up to $90,000 DOE
