Low Country dba Andy’s Sprinkler & Drainage is looking for a Crew Leader. The position is responsible to assist Managers and Service Technician on diverse projects. The position requires high customer service, high quality of service, maintenance and sales and should be executed with professionalism, honesty, ethics, integrity, care, friendliness and individual pride should be a first priority.

Performs repairs to our high-quality standards
Cleans up job site and makes sure that customer is 100% satisfied before leaving any job site
Strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across all levels of Andy’s Sprinkler, Drainage and Lighting
Communicates effectively with customer, dispatcher and/or manager if ahead or behind schedule
May train and/or mentor “ride-a-longs” Summer Interns in troubleshooting, installation, maintenance and repair of underground electric sprinkler/irrigation systems, lighting and drainage
Keeps at all times a clean work area and up to date inventory
Motivates and uplifts all employees
Keeps van/truck well stocked and organized, assists with general vehicle maintenance

Work EnvironmentMost Sprinkler/Irrigation Crew Leaders work full time and do physically demanding work. Working outdoors in extreme hot weather conditions.
Physical DemandsStand and walk for extended periods of time. Ability to frequently move supplies up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift weight consisting of 75 pounds. Long hours during peak season.
Position Type and Expected Hours of WorkThis is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. – until the project is completed. In addition, this position may require to come into work earlier than regular working hours , on weekends, holidays and in emergency situations (i.e., may be subject to “on-call” responsibilities).
TravelTravel is primarily locally during the business day
Required Education and ExperienceKnowledge of mechanical and irrigation systems, landscape lighting, drainage is required.
Preferred Education & ExperienceIrrigation Tech LicenseMinimum of basic Spanish language or willingness to learn some Spanish
