    We are currently seeking Anesthesiologists for VA Clarksburg, GA.

    Pay: $200.00 per hour.

    Sign-on bonus: $30,000.

    Place of performance : VA Medical Center, Clarksburg, WV.

    Schedule: Monday-Friday 40 hours per week normally between the hours 7:30 am-4:00pm with a 30-minute, unpaid lunch break; must be flexible with schedule plus on call.

    Description of duties:

    • Preoperative evaluation
    • Intravenous conscious/moderate sedation
    • Management of fluid, electrolyte and metabolic parameters
    • Airway management, basic and complicated, including all associated devices and techniques
    • Invasive monitoring (Pulmonary Artery Catheter, Central Venous, Arterial Lines)
    • Local and regional anesthesia with and without sedation, including topical and infiltration, minor and major nerve blocks
    • Management of intraoperative complications
    • Management of PACU problems
    • Peripheral nerve block to include major plexus block
    • Manipulation of body temperature
    • Manipulation of cardiovascular parameters
    • Cardio-pulmonary resuscitation including tracheal intubation, ventilation, and basic and advanced CPR monitoring
    • Joint and bursa sac injection
    • Trigger point injection
    • Cervical, thoracic, lumbar and caudal blocks
    • Differential spinal blocks
    • Cervical, brachial and lumbar plexus blocks
    • Stellate ganglion blocks
    • Celiac plexus blocks
    • Lumbar sympathetic blocks
    • Regional blocks of the head, neck and limbs
    • Blocks for the treatment of cephalgia

    Qualifications

    • MD license.
    • Board Certified/Eligible.
    • Fellowship training in Anesthesiology.
    • DEA.
    • Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
