    Job Overview:

    We are seeking skilled, board-certified or board-eligible Anesthesiologists to provide high-quality perioperative care. This position involves direct patient care in surgical and procedural settings, resident supervision, and shared call responsibilities. Candidates must be technically proficient, professionally dedicated, and committed to excellence in clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction. Perform other duties as assigned.

    ExperienceRequirements:

    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in clinical anesthesiology practice.
    • Demonstrated proficiency in perioperative anesthetic care, including general and regional techniques.
    • Experience working collaboratively with Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs), residents, and interdisciplinary clinical teams.
    • Provide full-spectrum anesthetic care: pre-op evaluation, intra-op monitoring, and post-op recovery.
    • Assist with procedures in GI/Endoscopy, Interventional Radiology, Cardiac Cath Lab, ICU, ECT, and emergency airways.
    • Manage and document anesthesia cases using Apollo machines, ARK electronic recordkeeping, and advanced monitoring systems.
    • Participate in quality improvement activities, M&M conferences, and departmental committees.
    • Supervise and mentor CRNAs and residents (100% supervision of all clinical activities).
    • Comply with documentation standards, HIPAA, and Joint Commission requirements.
    • Provide bedside consults and e-consults as needed.
    • Participate in patient discharge education and coordination of post-operative care.
    • Duties performed in OR, procedure suites, wards, and clinical settings.
    • Must be able to physically respond to emergencies within 60 minutes.
    • Must be capable of operating and managing standard anesthesia equipment and monitoring devices

    Experience Preferences:

    • Proficiency in managing complex cases across multiple specialties, including cardiac, thoracic, neurosurgical, orthopedic, and vascular surgeries.

    Physical Requirements:

    • Standing, walking, bending, and manual dexterity are required for extended periods in the OR.

    Education Requirements:

    • Current, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine in any U.S. State, Territory, or Commonwealth, including D.C.
    • Must not have a history of license restriction, suspension, revocation, or voluntary surrender pending investigation.
    • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology by the American Board of Anesthesiology (ABA).
    • Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
    • Completion of an ACGME-accredited residency in Anesthesiology

    Education Preferences:

    • Additional fellowship training in subspecialties (e.g., cardiac anesthesia, pain management, critical care) is a plus.

    Schedule:

    • Regular On-site Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (40 hours per week).
    • Weekday On-Call: 3:30 PM to 7:00 AM the next day.
    • Weekend On-Call: 24-hour call from 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM the next day (call from home).
    • Holiday Call: Shared on a rotating basis.
    • On-call physicians must be reachable by phone within 15 minutes and be physically present on-site within 40 minutes (emergency call-back infrequent).
    • No on-site sleeping accommodations are available.
