    ABOUT THE POSITION

    The Marketing Associate will be responsible for supporting the company’s marketing department in an array of functions. Your success is dependent on building a strategic partnership and becoming aligned with all levels of the organization. We require a candidate with the motivation to succeed and a passion to excel. You will work internally across departments and externally with clients and vendors, so it is imperative to always demonstrate the highest level of professionalism.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Undertake projects, in all capacities from development to completion, while supporting and effectively contributing to the day-to-day marketing functions that support Angeion’s business development functions
    • Provide support for a plethora of marketing tactics and growth initiatives to help execute strategic marketing plans based on direction from Director of Marketing
    • Work closely to support and collaborate with Director of Marketing, sales team and Graphic Designer
    • Execute creative strategy on all Marketing projects based on direction from Director of Marketing
    • Assist with public relations opportunities and maintain updated lists of targeted media contacts
    • Assist and lead efforts to organize marketing events (pre-event, on-site and post-event; travel required) centered around conferences, strategic industry events and other strategic marketing initiatives domestically and abroad
    • Support content and social media efforts for the company
    • Coordinate with the Director of Marketing to create advertising material (e.g. brochures, etc.)
    • Keep organized records of marketing metrics and results of past campaigns
    • Work with the Director of Marketing on thought leadership initiatives and other client focused campaigns
    • Assist with daily administrative tasks to ensure the Marketing department runs smoothly
    • Perform competitive, company and industry research to stay ahead of competitors
    • Provide reporting on all marketing campaigns (website activity, event RSVPs, content views) using in-house company tools
    • Fully document all work and comply with development best practices
    • Continually work towards strengthening industry knowledge and all relevant applications
    • Meet regularly with team to provide feedback and facilitate communication
    • Adhere to all business processes while performing tasks
    • Manage daily administrative tasks to ensure the Marketing department runs smoothly and provide back-up administrative support, as needed
    • Able to take on new tasks and responsibilities as needed
    • Perform other work-related duties as assigned
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Bachelors’ degree Marketing, Communications or other related field or discipline
    • Minimum 1-3 years’ professional experience in marketing, communications, or customer service or a related field
    • Experience with corporate event coordination
    • Exceptional written/oral communication skills, strong project management and organizational skills
    • Outstanding social media skills – able to successfully utilize social media platforms/applications, strategy and best practices for creating posts and content
    • Aggressive problem diagnosis and creative problem-solving skills
    • Demonstrate a high degree of productivity while handling multiple tasks simultaneously
    • Ability to perform comfortably in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment
    • Excellent written, verbal, communication, and research skills a must
    • Ability to be flexible to adapt and act quickly when urgent matters require it
    • Able to work effectively with diversified individuals of various ethnic backgrounds and professional competencies
    • Project a positive, professional image toward clients, vendors and staff in all interactions and situations
    • Maintain the highest level of confidentiality
    • Problem analysis and resolution skills at both a strategic and functional level
