    Job Description

    Angion is seeking a highly skilled and motivated biologist/biotechnologist with outstanding leadership and supervisory qualities. The Principal Scientists will be an integral part of our discovery and preclinical research and development team, contributing to our success by applying a strong scientific background in cell biology, pharmacology or a related discipline towards in vitro and in vivo assay development for testing novel drug candidates.

    In this role, you will:

    • Develop cell-based assays to test novel therapeutics
    • Use functional genomics to better understand drug action and position drugs for target patient populations
    • Work in a project-driven, matrixed organization
    • Compose research plans, execute experiments, and deliver project results
    • Manage multiple projects and train and supervise junior Researchers
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Applicants should hold a Ph.D and have a minimum of 3 years postdoctoral (preferably industry) or drug discovery/biotechnology experience. Early or mid-career Principal Investigators are encouraged to apply.
    • Ability to maintain and organize electronic research records, write study reports, adhere to safety regulations and work within a team environment
    • Excellent communication and organizational skills

    VACCINATION STATEMENT:
