  • Responsibilities

    Job Description

    Anglin Consulting Group is currently seeking American Sign Language interpreters who hold either RID or NAD certification to support us by providing ASL services to the deaf and hard of hearing community in the DC Metro area and its surrounding regions for both on-site and video remote modalities.

    Duties will include but are not limited to:

    • Provide Sign Language Services for clients in the healthcare, education, business, legal and service sectors according to certification level and endorsements
    • Use the company’s Video Remote Interpreting (VRI) platform to maintain coverage for clients who need an interpreter on demand
    • Research and provide the company with avenues and strategies to expand our services for the deaf community and clients who service the deaf community
    • VRI (Video Remote Interpreting) projects scheduling and coordination
    • Setting up new interpreters for VRI
    • Performing test calls with VRI interpreters on regular basis
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    Our ideal candidate:

    • Holds a B.A./B.S. from an accredited institution of higher education
    • Current certification with either NAD or RID
    • Possesses strong organization and time-management skills as well as ability to multi-task
    • Has the required certifications and endorsements for varying levels of assignments. 
    • Is proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
    • Is a team-player and has a positive attitude
