    Job Description

    Administrative Athletic Manager position located in Washington, DC to support our client. 

    • Assisting with the day to day business operations of a high functioning interscholastic athletic office. 
    • Assisting and providing support to the DCSAA Director, Director of Sport, Coordinator of Officials and the Senior Women's Administrator
    • Acts as the Agency liaison to the office of the State Superintendent of Education (OSSE);
    • Maintain and update the Agency's Multi-media platforms (website, twitter, facebook, Instagram & flickr); 
    • Liaison for the following agency functions: The Academic Scholarship Reception and the DC High School Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony; 
    • Receiving and disseminating quarterly academic awards certificates; Responsible for collecting and submitting the annual athletic participation numbers to the National Federation of State High School Association (NFHS); 
    • Creating of all marketing material (e.g. brochures, presentations, programs etc.); 
    • Posting events and follow up to include surveys, thank you notes, reports and final event audit, Collaborate to create graphic design, layout elements, and GIFs for social media to increase championship events visibility; 
    • Responsible for college coach outreach ensuring that east region coaches are aware of and invited to championship events and other duties as assigned.

    THE MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS LISTED BELOW ARE REPRESENTATIVE OF THE KNOWLEDGE, SKILL, AND ABILITY NECESSARY FOR AN INDIVIDUAL TO PERFORM EACH ESSENTIAL FUNCTION SATISFACTORILY. REASONABLE AMOUNTS OF TRAINING ARE PROVIDED.

    • Degree or equivalent in business or a related discipline. Bachelor’s preferred.
    • Previous administration experience
    • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Web, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)
    • Experience leading, coaching, mentoring, establishing goals and providing feedback on sourcing approaches and tactics undertaken by the team.
