    At least 18 years or older

    Be able to lift dog food and supplies

    Constantly walk and/or stand entire shift

    Must be available to work Sundays and Holidays

    Must be okay to undergo a background check and drug screen

    Social security card and valid state or government issued ID

    Responsibilities

    A Camp Counselor assists with animal care, heavy cleaning and play yard monitoring

    Entertaining and monitoring daycare and boarding dogs (Campers’) in our open-play indoor and outdoor play areas

    Clean play yards, cabins and all common spaces: mopping, sweeping, and scrubbing

    Feeding, administering medicine, lifting weight up to 40 lbs.

    Always be active and attentive to dogs and pet parents

    Evaluate dog behavior, reactions, and interactions with other dogs to complete the initial dog screening evaluations, also called “Interviews.”

    Maintain continuous focus and attention on dog interactions to prevent fights and injuries

    Observe and learn animal behavior and signs of aggression to appropriately assign dogs to the proper play yards, which will require listening and distinguishing between dog vocalizations, distress barks, aggression, etc.

    Perform dog health checks throughout the day

    Attend additional training as management deems necessary

    About the Job A Camp Counselor assists with animal care, heavy cleaning and play yard monitoring. Primary Responsibilities • Entertaining and monitoring daycare and boarding dogs (‘Campers’) in our open-play indoor and outdoor play areas • Clean play yards, cabins and all common spaces: mopping, sweeping, and scrubbing. • Perform dog washes, nail trims, and other basic dog grooming tasks if comfortable • Feeding, administering medicine, lifting weight up to 40 lbs. • Be active and attentive to dogs and pet parents at all times. Evaluate dog behavior, reactions, and interactions with other dogs to complete the initial dog screening evaluations, also called “Interviews.” • Maintain continuous focus and attention on dog interactions to prevent fights and injuries. • Observe and learn animal behavior and signs of aggression in order to appropriately assign dogs to the proper play yards, which will require listening and distinguishing between dog vocalizations, distress barks, aggression, etc. • Perform dog health checks throughout the day. • Attend additional training as management deems necessary.

    · First Aid and CPR for dogs within 60 day of hire

    · Experience • Kennel tech or Vet office experience preferred • Previous Dog Daycare experience preferred Schedule: • Morning shift 6:15 am – 1:00 pm, Afternoon shift 11:45 am – 7:00 pm
