    Job Summary

    We are seeking an Animal Care Giver Doggy Day Care Counselor to join our team! As an Doggy Day Care Counselor, you will spend your days tending to the animals under our care, including following guidelines for feeding, refilling water bowls, and offering treats and companionship. You will also be responsible for ensuring the environment is clean and safe for all the animals as well as socializing dogs in open play environment. The ideal candidate is comfortable working with all types of dogs, can work on their feet for long periods of time, and can work well in a team environment.

    Responsibilities

    Follow guidelines to feed all types of dogs, ensuring the proper dietary guidelines are followed

    Clean and maintain pet enclosures so that every animal under your care has a safe, healthy living environment

    Socialize and exercise animals under your care as needed

    Interact with the animals, providing a positive human experience

    Maintain proper records of all animals and care given throughout your shift

    Love dogs - Accept direction.

    Can work as a part of a team.

    Available to work full time during the morning shift (6:15 am - 1:00 pm) or afternoon shift, (11:45 am - 7:00 pm).

    Are available to work Weekends and all Holidays.

    Are punctual and reliable, responsible and flexible with hours, and must be at work on time.

    Qualifications

    Must be comfortable working with dogs of all sizes and types

    Prior WORK experience with dogs preferred

    First Aid and CPR certification for dogs is required with in 60 days of employment

    Must be comfortable working on your feet for extended periods of time

    Familiarity with basic computer programs

    Must be 18 years old or older

    Must Speak English

    Must have Social Security card, authorized to work in the United States and valid state or federal ID
