What You'll Do:

• Feed, handle, and care for animals in the shelter
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for animals and visitors
• Implant microchips and assist with veterinary procedures
• Perform euthanasia and document drug usage (certification required within 6 months if not held)
• Track inventory, assist with cremations, and support volunteers in animal handling
• Enter accurate data into our animal services system

What We're Looking For:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 6+ months' experience working with animals or in animal control
• Basic animal handling skills; experience with large or aggressive animals preferred
• Valid Texas driver's license; ability to provide your own transportation
• Strong communication, customer service, and computer skills
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends
• Must pass background and drug/alcohol screening
