Critter Control of San Jose seeks an Animal Control Specialist to help homeowners and businesses solve complex wildlife and rodent challenges across Silicon Valley. You'll conduct inspections, design and implement wildlife management strategies, and provide expert guidance to clients.

Lead property inspections and identify wildlife/rodent entry points
Implement trapping, exclusion, and prevention strategies
Communicate clearly with customers and present service solutions
Manage documentation, safety compliance, and scheduling
Mentor newer technicians as experience grows
Valid CA driver's license, clean record (NO DUIs ever)
Pass drug screening, background check, employment physical
Medically cleared for respirator use
Lift 50+ lbs, work in attics/crawlspaces/roofs
Strong communication and customer service skills
Familiar with San Jose and nearby communities
Obtain CA Dept. of Fish & Wildlife Trapping Certification within 90 days
Maintain Cal/OSHA safety compliance
Manage detailed documentation and route planning
1+ years experience in pest control, wildlife control, or construction
Sales experience a strong plus — ability to recommend and close solutions
Strong leadership and troubleshooting ability
Schedule: Monday–Friday, optional overtime available
Pay: $23–$26/hour + commission-based sales bonuses
