Animal Hospital at Baldwin Park is a full-service, fast-paced multi-doctor animal hospital providing a comprehensive range of integrated veterinary services including traditional and alternative medicine to the pets of the greater _Orlando _area. 

Led by _DR. DAVID VILALLONGA, _we pride ourselves on providing the best care in offering traditional and alternative medicine to pets. We offer a wide variety of medical, surgical, dental using progressive, modern medicine and innovative technology.  The combination of western and holistic medicine brings multiple ways to diagnose and treat the same disease. To complement our doctors, we have an experienced support staff and a strong leadership team to help in your success to deliver the best care to each pet and pet owner! 

As a Veterinary Student Extern you will be actively mentored (and depending on your year of school) as you develop technical skills while participating in rounds, surgery, treatments, and consultations with clients. Our industry standard mentorship resource guide will help you and your mentor intentionally identify objectives to focus on to ensure your experience is customized for what you want to achieve.  Your experience could include gathering histories, performing physical examinations, developing diagnostic and therapeutic plans or building case management plans depending on what you are hoping to experience. We are here to help you become the doctor you want to be!

Qualifications

• Enrolled in DVM/VMD program at an AVMA accredited veterinary school
• Invested in building trusting relationships with clients, colleagues, and community
• Motivated for continuous personal and professional growth
• Team player, go-getter, willing to jump-in when needed
• Positive attitude and the desire to learn
• Mindset and drive to grow skillset and the desire to be mentored
