Animal Medical Center of Seattle is looking for a skilled, caring, collaborative, and friendly board-eligible or certified criticalist to join our existing specialist team in providing superior 24-hour specialty veterinary care in the Pacific Northwest. Our existing specialties include emergency, critical care, internal medicine, interventional radiology, ophthalmology, neurology, surgery, oncology, dentistry, and dermatology. In the fall of 2019, we moved into a newly renovated 14,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art facility just north of downtown Seattle.

We are looking to add another criticalist and seek doctors who share our passion for patient/client care, high-quality medicine, and continuing education. A second criticalist will join Annie Chih, DVM, DACVECC, and six ER veterinarians in our emergency and critical care department to offer the Seattle veterinary and pet-owning communities expanded access to advanced critical care options. We are interviewing doctors who are fun to work with and enjoy collaboration.

To provide the best care possible, we stay apprised of new innovations and utilize an extensive array of cutting-edge diagnostic, therapeutic, and monitoring equipment. These include a complete laboratory (CBC/Chemistry/I-Stat/Coag), monitoring devices (Telemetry/NIBP/ Invasive BP/telemetry), digital radiography, multiple ultrasound units, anesthetic, and critical care ventilators, a hyperbaric oxygen chamber, 64 slice CT, 1.5T MRI and an OEC 9800 fluoroscopy with a neurovascular package. We are also equipped with complete endoscopic towers, therapeutic diode, and cold lasers and are leading the interventional medicine charge in the Pacific Northwest. We don't shy away from technology, so rest assured our emergency and critical care service will be fully equipped and staffed. Additionally, we are virtually paperless with fully integrated treatment, invoicing, and medical record software. We also have a full-time marketing specialist on-site to promote you and your skills as well as introduce you to the referring community.

When hiring, from top to bottom, we focus on cultural fit, which allows us to boast an awesome group of people you will love working with every day. We offer competitive compensation; an excellent benefits package and we promote a sensible work/life balance policy for all of our employees.
