The Role
We are seeking an Animation Producer to lead animation production within an Unreal Engine–first, real-time pipeline. This role oversees the animation workflow from early creative concept through final delivery, ensuring content is produced efficiently, consistently, and at a high level of quality. The ideal candidate is comfortable operating at the intersection of creative execution, real-time technology, and AI-assisted workflows, and thrives in fast-moving, modern production environments.
Responsibilities
- Own and manage the animation production pipeline from concept through final delivery within a real-time Unreal Engine workflow
- Partner with asset creation, animation, and creative leadership to align artistic intent with real-time production constraints
- Plan, track, and deliver schedules, milestones, and assets across multiple teams and disciplines
- Support narrative-driven, linear animation production (VOD, or short-form) built and rendered in Unreal Engine
- Champion AI-assisted workflows that improve iteration speed, scalability, and production efficiency (e.g., performance capture, facial animation, previs, shot iteration, asset organization)
- Facilitate clear communication between creative, technical, and production stakeholders to maintain momentum and alignment
- Identify pipeline risks, dependencies, and bottlenecks, proactively driving solutions that favor real-time iteration over traditional offline workflows
- Ensure animation quality, consistency, and performance across all stages of production
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience managing animation production pipelines from start to finish
- Strong understanding of Unreal Engine–based real-time animation workflows
- Familiarity with MetaHuman Animator, performance capture, and modern character pipelines
- Comfortable integrating and supporting AI-driven or AI-assisted tools within animation and production workflows
- Experience working cross-functionally with animation, technical art, asset creation, narrative, and production teams
- Background in narrative or linear animation production, including cinematics or episodic content
- Working knowledge of DCC workflows and tools such as Maya and/or Blender, with an understanding of how they integrate into real-time pipelines
