    Job Summary:

    Animax Designs creates extraordinary three-dimensional characters for the themed entertainment, location-based entertainment, commercial, film, and television industries. We are currently seeking an Accounting Manager to work at our facility in Nashville, TN.

    The Senior Finance Manager supervises, tracks, and evaluates day-to-day activities. Role responsibilities include establishing financial status by developing and implementing systems for collecting, analyzing, verifying, and reporting information. You will work closely with the other members of our international finance and internal management team.

    This position will report to the Executive Vice President of Operations.

    Essential Job Responsibilities:

    Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department including:

    month and end-year process

    accounts payable/receivable

    cash receipts

    general ledger

    payroll and utilities

    treasury, budgeting

    cash forecasting

    revenue and expenditure variance analysis

    capital assets reconciliations.

    check runs

    fixed asset activity

    debt activity

    Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements

    Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies and principles

    Coordinate and complete annual audits

    Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions

    Assign projects and direct staff to ensure compliance and accuracy

    Meet financial accounting objectives

    Establish and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions

    Required Skills and Abilities:

    10+ Years of proven working experience as Accounting Manager, Accounting Supervisor or Finance Manager

    Experience with Sage, NetSuite ERP, or similar business management platforms

    Experienced in managing teams

    Experienced in a manufacturing environment

    Advanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software and databases

    Ability to manipulate large amounts of data

    Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations

    Assist with regulatory reporting as applicable

    Research accounting issues for compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)

    High attention to detail and accuracy

    Ability to direct and supervise

    BS degree in Accounting or Finance

    Preferred Skills and Abilities:

    MBA or CPA

    Experience working with international organizations

    Experience within ERP integration
